Working Late in London

I arrived home on the Sunday evening at about six. I’d rang Franz and he was meeting me at a gastropub called ‘The Larrik’, all the agency escorts know it, only a five minute walk from Marylebone station, and a five minute walk for him from his tube stop. I appreciate the fact he’d reserved a table for dinner too.

As my gay best friend, he was also my ‘rock’ when I needed to talk to someone. After a hug, e ordered a bottle of wine and I chose the salmon with Pak choi, mushroom and honey roasted roots. Franz picked the roast of the day and extra vegetables.

I shared my story with him and he smiled. “So, you have a dilemma. Do you mention the thong or not? Also, will this impact upon the trust you have too? These are double standards.”

I shook my head. “I have stopped inviting clients back to the London flat. I had a near miss, so decided it wasn’t good enough. It is either a hotel, or the client’s pad, or office, if the need arises. Some offices have bedrooms, believe it or not.”

He did understand and I felt better about the chat. We ate and talked about my life away from Sasha’s escort agency his new relationship and how well it was going. I was so pleased for him. At last, he had met his match and was settling down. I wondered if he would settle down, but he had found someone with the right level of intellect and interests.

On my way home, I found myself wondering if I had jumped into my relationship with Josh just that little bit too soon. Now we were together, I wondered if we were that well-matched. When I arrived, the flat was in darkness. There was a message pinned onto the fridge.

“I might not be back tonight as Sasha has me working late, but it is good overtime. Miss you and will see you tomorrow.”

I was disappointed and I sensed something was wrong. I rang Josh but it went to voicemail. I didn’t leave a message. We were passing ships in the night.

The next morning, there was no sign. I waited in until ten-thirty and then went to the gym and swim. I took my clothes to change into as I had an hour-long client meeting at one, in Chelsea and it was only a ten minute cab journey away. I only needed to dress casually, so I left a message to let him know I would be back by three, so we could catch up then.
